“I collect homework in class, not via Canvas. I write comments on the papers before I hand them back to students. I decided this semester to also put these comments online. I have found that students like the input, and even come to the next class, before I have passed their homework back, with corrections to what they first submitted. My proactiveness is helping my students also to be proactive.”
